WEDNESDAY MARCH 11 IS THE NEXT EDUCATIONAL LUNCH
Please register now for the FPA WNY’s Educational Lunch on March 11th. The topic is ‘New York State Tax and New York Estate Planning Update’. And our presenters are Paul R. Comeau and Victoria L. D’Angelo, Attorneys.
This 50 minute presentation will focus on the NYS Legislative and Judicial Developments and on New York State Estate Planning in light of recent changes.
The intention is to give financial advisors and CPA’s guidance in light of recent and proposed changes.
In order to start on time and give you an opportunity to network as well as enjoy lunch, we will start the buffet at 11:20 AM at Protocol Restaurant, 6766 Transit Road, Williamsville. The program starts at NOON and ends by 1:30 PM.
This program is open to FPA WNY members and first-time guests (prospective members) with a $25 charge for non-members, paid by cash or check at the door.
This program will be eligible for one hour of CFP Board Continuing Education credit, NYS INS and CPA CPE credit.

Below are the modules that you will need to complete before sitting for the CFP certification exam. I’ve also attached for your review our 2015 Financial Services Catalog. Refer to page 11 for a brief description of each module. Our program is designed to address the key financial planning topics needed for success on the CFP Certification Exam. Textbooks are included in the price of tuition. Our CFP Board approved program includes:
- Personal Financial Planning– 10 class sessions
- Insurance Planning – 10 sessions
- Investment Planning - 10 class sessions
- Income Tax Planning – 10 sessions
- Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits – 10 sessions
- Estate Planning – 10 sessions
- Case Study Capstone – 10 sessions
Each class session is 4 hours long. We offer a Friday morning session (8:30 am-12:30 pm) and a Monday evening session from 5:30 pm-9:30 pm.

Pay as you go:
$ 729.00 per course which includes textbooks.
If you register and pay for the entire Program up-front, we offer a 10% total program discount (AND you are lock-in current pricing, avoiding future price increases), bringing the total program cost to $4,593.00.
Refer to page 11 of the catalogue (soon to be uploaded) for a brief description of the CFP modules that is in our curriculum. I’ve also attached our Friday morning schedule for review. Currently, we cancelled our Monday evening cohort. A new Monday evening schedule is to be determined.
